I already suck at blogging!

July 4th, 2009!-Happy 4th of July to Everyone!

We arrived in Hardy Arkansas at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, after finally stopping in Springfield MO (ya know where Bart Simpson lives). What a long trip! The first meal consisted of hush puppies and catfish nuggets..wow my stomach is dying!! Yesterday was Michael's birthday and we floated the Spring River on inter tubes..it was ok other than snakes, chiggers, and stuff floating everywhere around us. He enjoyed it so that is all that matters. There was a big BBQ fest last night and had some killer ribs and PORK BUTT!! I just love saying PORK BUTT! Have any of you every seen beans mixed with green beans (ya know the vegetable). There are some creative folks around these parts. Well we are off to head to Thayer MO due to the fact that this is a dry county and there is no beverages to be found for 30 miles.
I hope that everyone has a fun & safe 4th of July holiday.
I will not wait 2 more days to Blog again, I have to admit though the internet service is a bit spotty.

4th of July Weekend Road Trip

4:48 p.m. July 1st, 2009-
Left Billings Montana at 2:00 a.m. this morning and have been driving non-stop. We are somewhere outside of Council Bluffs Iowa. I have read like 5 magazines, watched a movie, slept..basically I am running out of stuff to keep me occupied. Stopped at a place called Wall Drug in South Dakota and rode a 10 foot Jackalop. Ok, well I did not realy ride it, I sat on it though. No camera to prove it, left it in the truck. I just love Jack-a-lops.
